Gentilax is an over the counter medication that is used to treat occasional constipation. It works by holding water in the stool to soften the stool and increases the number of bowel movements. It is known as an osmotic-type laxative.
This medication is also available without a prescription. If you are taking this medication for self-treatment, it is important to read the manufacturer’s package instructions carefully so you know when to consult your doctor or pharmacist.
It may take 2 to 4 days after you have started this medication to have a bowel movement. Do not increase your dose or take it more frequently than prescribed. Also, do not use this medication for more than 2 weeks unless directed by your doctor. Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens. Extended use or overuse may result in dependence on laxatives and chronic constipation. Overuse may cause diarrhea, excess loss of body water (dehydration), and mineral imbalance (e.g., low sodium).

Very effective and no cramps
Daily dosage information: Adults age 12 and over take one or two pills preferably at bedtime. Children ages 6 to 12 take one half pill to one pill preferably at bedtime. The pills have a line scored on them so that they may be cut in half with a knife. Pills may be swallowed or chewed. Dosage may be increased or decreased to suit your individual needs. Can be taken at any time, but bedtime is preferred. Generally produces a bowel movement in 6 to 8 hours. If taken at bedtime, you should have a bowel movement in the morning upon arising. I take it at 12 noon with lunch and around 7:30 in the evening it produces a soft, easy movement. I use them regularly and have had no problems.

Excellent
Excellent product went to Mexico couple years ago found this magic little pill at small little store in mall. Been having issue moving my bowel last 30 years after birth of my daughter, nothing else has worked except this little green pill (FYI best result chew it little bit drink water) take one every night, work perfectly in the morning no gramps no bad taste what’s so ever, reasonably price. Would highly recommend this product.
